Frontend Developer (m/f) in Berlin/Germany

As a Frontend Developer you will work in an agile and interdisciplinary team of developers. Your main tasks will be building high performing frontends and implement new product features and improvements. You will evaluate technological aspects of concepts together with the product management. With regards to your tasks, you will work on an older and a younger code base. In addition, projects are an essential part of the work. Close collaboration and coordination with the Backend Developer and the QA is absolutely mandatory. The projects include e.g. performance improvements and general optimizations. As an experienced Frontend developer you will be able to put your own ideas into action, thus you will be able to really make a difference.

What we expect of you (must have)
• At least 2-3 years of experience in developing complex web applications
• Very good knowledge in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery
• Experience with SASS/LESS
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as backbone.js, require.js or comparable
• Ability to work with build and CI tools
• Ability to work with version control system Git
• Very good communication skills in English
• Knowledge in agile methodologies

What we expect of you (nice to have)
• Degree in computer science/ IT or an equivalent education
• Java affinity
• Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks QUnit\Jasmine
• Experience with Compass
• Knowledge in Jenkins and Grunt
• German language skills
