Within the Tech organization we are looking for a

Tech-Lead Application (m/f)

You will be working with many technologies including SOA, Java 8, REST API, CentOS 7, Thymeleaf, Spring 4, GWT, Ajax, JQuery, Nagios, Jenkins, Angularjs, Bash, Git, Oracle. You wont be expected to have used all of these, but will have a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of computer science and commercial software development with the ability to develop innovative high performance and scalable solutions to highly complex problems. As a Tech-Lead Application you will be working along side some of the finest software engineers in a highly collaborative, friendly, knowledge sharing agile environment.

Your duties:

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to shape the feature backlog ensuring increased competitiveness.
• Build and lead an international backend team (REST API) and also have an eye on the front-end development process.
• Act as the Senior Technologist on IT related projects.
• Collaborate with B2B engineering counterparts.
• You leave your footprint and take part in the company’s expansion.

Your profile:

• University Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experienced in building high availability, highly performing IT systems that require 24/7 availability.
• Experienced in REST API development of both exposing and consuming internal and external endpoints.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL and security methodologies.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Development such as AWS or Google Cloud solutions.
• Good understanding of iterative delivery of value and enhancement to software.
• Good knowledge in architecture & software design.
• Team Leadership experience.
• Good written and spoken communication in English & German.
