For our location in Karlsbad near Karlsruhe as well as Stuttgart we are looking for a

Hardware Expert (m/f) with focus on BIOS

Responsibilities:

• Definition of the BIOS and testing system architecture for Modules in the field of automotive infotainment and telematics products
• Development and programming of Hardware drivers (for example ALSA driver for Audio Routing)
• Creation of detail specification for testing systems based on target products (typically SoC modules)
• Definition and documentation for working packages and project milestones and steering with external ODM for implementation
• Review and release Hardware according to process
• Very closed co-work with Hardware BIOS team for functional development
• Driving system bring-ups

Skills & Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or appropriate graduation)
• Ideally a minimum of three to five years of experience in Hardware development and Hardware closed low level SW design
• Good knowledge and experience in high speed bus systems such as PCIe
• Good knowledge in Audio (ALSA drive and audio Codec) and Video capturing (video4Linux)
• Knowledge in build process (GIT)
• Experience in embedded linux systems
• Good written and spoken skills in technical English
